Saara Pritchard is a collector, curator and advisor specializing in contemporary art. Her love of art was ingrained in her by her late father who was an experienced and accomplished collector of old master paintings, Renaissance bronze sculpture and European fine and decorative arts. As a child, Saara visited auction previews and attended art fairs with her father and spent many weekends at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York admiring the Dutch masters or Tiepolos.
Professionally, Saara is the founder of Awise Advisory, advising private collectors and artists. She was previously a Senior Vice President, Senior Specialist of Post War and Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s and Christie’s.
She was instrumental in securing consignments across auction and private sales, with a focus on major collections, single owner sales and the Hong Kong auctions. While her expertise in Post-War and Contemporary.
